Respect Phoneline is a confidential helpline and web chat service for anyone who’s concerned about their use of violence and abuse in relationships, and for those supporting them: friends or family members and Frontline Staff working with those causing harm, are welcome to call us for information and support. Our team of friendly Advisors will listen to you without judgement and are available to offer confidential and honest advice to help you understand use of violence and abuse is a choice, steps to manage your behaviour and signposting to programmes that can help you to change. We can support and advise people from anywhere in the UK.

Calls to 0808 80 numbers are free to call from landlines and mobile phones within the UK and do not appear on itemised bills. They are also free to call from BT payphones. If English isn’t your first language, you can ask the Helpline Advisor for a telephone interpreter or get someone you know to help you request this. Our Helpline Advisors can communicate with those unable to hear or speak on the phone via the national relay service, Relay UK.
