TUBA Danmark

TUBA is for children and young people who grew up in families with substance abuse. We provide online counselling, educational drop in meetings (online and in real life) for whoever needs it and we provide individual and group therapy for young adults in the age 14-35 years old. At this moment it is assumed that one in 10 children in Denmark grow up in a household with at least one parent with a substance abuse. Growing up in an environment like this leaves marks on the children and the effects don’t end in the childhood. The long term effects are severe, and many end up suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction and are suicidal. Specialized therapy is an important step to help prevent this.
